Lend a friendly voice or just hold the hand of a patient in ED. A cheerful word to a relative.

Maybe that’s all that’s needed to give some relief. Just one four hour shift from you each week.

The Emergency Department is being refurbishe­d so will be a great surroundin­g in which to work. Drive a St John Health Shuttle.

Or be a companion. Get a medically challenged person to a medical appointmen­t.

In the Manawatu St John Health Shuttles transfer 1000 people to and from appointmen­ts each year.

A great team of friendly people who love their volunteeri­ng for St John.

Interested in retail? The St John Opportunit­y Shop in Broadway has a place for you.

Serving at the counter, sorting donated goods, setting up displays or being out in the truck collecting goods. The Op Shop is growing rapidly and becoming the best op shop in the city.

St John Youth — besides having spaces for new youth members there are also places for adult leaders.
