MHT Diabetes Trust to start education courses

The MHT Diabetes Trust is funded in the MidCental region to provide group education to people with diabetes.

The organisation’s courses are taught by accredited health professionals and specialist-endorsed to provide participants with current, evidencebased education.

Upcoming free courses: Pre diabetes Tuesday July 3; Monday September 10, 5.30pm-7.30pm.

Healthy living Take Action series: — Saturday August 4, 11, 18, 9.30am-11.30am

Healthy Food Choices and Label Reading: Monday September 17; Tuesday December 4, 12pm — 1.30pm.

Carbohydrate awareness: Thursday August 16, 5.30pm — 7.30pm. A support person is also welcome.
