Organics open day
The New Zealand Army Band is returning to entertain in Palmerston North’s Square for a lunchtime concert.
The band, which has an international reputation for versatility and innovation is performing from 12 to 1pm on December 4.
With the incorporation of a rhythm section and vocalists, the band performs a wide range of genres including swing, jazz, pop and rock.
Last year, they had people up dancing and enjoying a fun hour of entertainment in the middle of the day.
This is a free event, so bring your lunch, a blanket or chair, and sunscreen.
Wholegrain Organics is holding an open day on Sunday from 11.30am-4pm at their cafe on Broadway and their Napier Rd farm. The purpose is to introduce themselves to the community and to show what they do and why they do it.
Wholegrain Organics is on Broadway and will give presentations in the cafe at 12pm and 1.30pm.
They are opening their new production kitchen/classroom upstairs. A farm visit mini-bus shuttle will leave the cafe at 1pm and 2.30pm for the farm at 230 Napier Rd.
