Jim’s Mowing is keen to expand its representation in the Manawatu¯.

Regional franchisee Gavin McGlashan believes the region can handle at least another two operators. He says despite there already being operators under the Jim’s Mowing banner in the region, there is definitely scope for more.

“You buy the franchise, we train you and you start working,” says Gavin.

“You then receive ongoing support to achieve and maintain the level of business you want. The potential is to exceed $100,000 turnover annually and that can be achieved in the Manawatu¯,” he said.

Your support includes business training, on the job practical training, ongoing support and systems to enable you to earn the best income possible while maintaining the lifestyle you desire.

Manawatu¯ franchise owner Garth Ratima says he loves his Jim’s Mowing business because he gets to be his own boss while enjoying a variety of work in the outdoors.

“I am inundated with work. “There are more clients than I can manage,” says Garth. “The unserviced jobs are mounting so there are more than enough clients to take on. We need some help.”

Regional franchisee Gavin McGlashan says now is the ideal time to start looking at this business opportunity because there is good grass growth and an ongoing demand for their services.

“This steadier workload after the spring flush allows for a solid client base to be built up in a short space of time, while still allowing time to learn and refine the processes and systems that work best for the individual.”
