Chayanin Therapuetic Massage

-

Chayanin McGrail brings her Thai massage therapy to Palmerston North from Thailand where she practised for over 10 years.

She has been practising in the city for the past 3 1⁄2 years.

The benefits of Chayanin’s massage involve moving and manipulating the body to relieve physical and emotional tension. Massage also boosts energy, relieves headaches, stimulates circulation and helps improve a range of physical motions.

Chayanin’s specialties are the Hot Aroma lavender oil massage which is relaxing for your body and muscles while releasing tension, and recommended for headaches, migraines and stress. This is not a strong massage.

The hot Thai oil massage is a combination technique using Tiger Balm with stretching to help improve flexibility, reduce stress, and reduces muscle stiffness and tension in arms and legs. This massage benefits sports and work injuries and general aches and pains in the body.

The Thai massage recommended for people with deep tissue trigger point muscle problems; neck, shoulder and back massage, and the foot massage to stimulate blood circulation and reduce feet and leg swelling from travelling.

Thai massage was founded by a Thai monk and physician Shivago Komarpa over 2500 years ago. He is noted in many ancient Buddhist documents for his extraordinary medical skills and knowledge in herbal medicine which is widely used in Thailand and throughout the world.
