Happy to be back in the city

A new face in real estate is a familiar one, Helen Mays finds.

It’s been a long and devoted real estate career for Deb Quin, working as a sales consultant in an exciting industry she thoroughly enjoys. Deb was introduced to real estate 20 years ago here in Palmerston North and after spending several years in Waikato she has returned, joining the very friendly crowd at RE/MAX Go for Sold.

Deb says she has chosen RE/MAX because the RE/MAX team is committed to making a difference.

‘‘I’ve chosen to work at RE/MAX Go for Sold because I want to work closely with others who share my real passion for real estate,’’ says Deb. ‘‘ The company provides a great support network for my clients and of course a very healthy environment to work in.’’

Deb explains there’s a lot of joy for her in coming to work each day and she really admires RE/MAX Go for Sold Owner Pamela Lee Burge for her professionalism.

‘‘Pamela is an outstanding performer in this industry and her passion and enthusiasm has never faltered in almost 40 years of commitment.’’

Deb has found it very easy to slip back into Palmerston North. ’’It’s a transient town and it’s very easy to move here. I find our friendly people here are always engaging. I love also how the city is culturally mature. I think you really appreciate it when you’ve lived elsewhere.’’

She finds Palmerston North’s educational facilities, the defence forces and personnel that are based here and the international companies that choose to base themselves here have helped create a very vibrant city.

After years away from Palmerston North Deb has really noticed the physical changes in the city. She describes our new The Square layout as outstanding.

‘‘I also love the Manawatu River and the walkways, the lagoon and especially The Esplanade, they’re a real asset to the city and a credit to the PNCC.’’

Deb has also noticed the distinctive changes on Broadway Avenue, she has discovered a much more commercially developed and beautified street than when she left Palmerston North. ’’Broadway Avenue has become a real destination and is now quite engaging.’’

Living and working in Waikato, Deb found the real estate market was supported by a strong drive from Auckland and Tauranga investors. She suggests Palmerston North hasn’t yet really experienced the drive from our northern neighbours in search of property but it will come.

‘‘I look forward to encouraging my investors from further north to see Palmerston North as a place to invest in. The returns seem to be a little more generous here.’’

If you know Deb from her former time here she would love to reconnect with you. If you’re looking to buy or sell a property she would love to hear from you. Her expertise is in the residential and lifestyle market.

‘‘I’m ready to provide my knowledge and support in making every sale or purchase a smooth transition. It’s a very satisfying outcome to have delighted clients.’’

Deb’s motto remains: happy vendor, happy purchaser.
