Spring Fling in Foxton

A fun day on Main St in Foxton featuring Rezist, Black Eyed Susie, the Beat Girls, tomorrow. There will be more than 160 stalls and a lane of kids’ activities, including ride-ons, paintball and bouncy castles. From 9am to 3pm.

Train whistle makes a scary noise

The Esplanade Scenic Railway’s annual Halloween train is on track to trick and treat riders this year, from 6-9pm on Monday and Wednesday, and from 6-10pm on Friday and Saturday, October 27.

There’s a double dose of the National Women’s Football League in Palmerston North this weekend. Central take on Waikato-bay of Plenty today and on Monday. Both matches are at Massey University, today at 2pm and Monday at 1pm.
