Adams, Thunder too strong

-

Two nights after he limped off the court in San Antonio, Steven Adams was back to business in Oklahoma City as the Thunder ended a three-game NBA losing streak. Adams scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Thunder got revenge on San Antonio Spurs with a 122-112 win at home. On Friday (NZT), Adams scored 19 points in their 154-147 loss to the Spurs in double-overtime and looked in serious trouble when hobbling off with a left ankle injury. But he returned late in that game and showed no ill-effects yesterday, playing 35 minutes in another key all-round performance.
