Fury KOS Joshua fight

Boxing

-

Tyson Fury believes a fight against fellow English heavyweight Anthony Joshua is unlikely to ever happen. Former world champion Fury is back in training in Spain after last month’s controversial draw against American WBC champ Deontay Wilder in Los Angeles, where Fury rose from the canvas to forge a stunning 12th-round fightback. The ‘Gypsy King’ is hoping for a rematch, though it was thought one stumbling block to that could be if Fury took on a fight against IBF, WBO and WBA champion Joshua, who is still to confirm an opponent for his April booking of Wembley Stadium. However, 30-year-old Fury would be surprised if he ever matched up against Joshua. ‘‘I’ve already beaten Wilder so that’s one down, and I’ll do the same to Joshua if given the chance,’’ he told BT Sport. ‘‘But I don’t think it’s going to happen, sorry to disappoint the sports fans. Joshua, even with two hammers in each hand, could never beat Tyson Fury – and they know it. They know that, they’re not silly.’’
