❚ Re: Toyota grant. Mayor Grant Smith is away and nobody in the council can answer questions? I thought we lived in a democracy, not a dictatorship. Ask deputy mayor Tangi Utikere. It’s his job to answer questions when the mayor is absent.

❚ Totally agree with Grant Duncan. I know two students who have elected to go to Auckland University rather than Massey because of Jan Thomas. How stupid does she and the university council take us Kiwis?
