School bus crash in city

-

A school bus has collided with a van in Auckland CBD. Emergency services were called to the scene on Queen St, shortly before 2.30pm yesterday. A woman who witnessed the collision said the van turned into a side road in front of the bus, leading to the bus clipping the back end of the van. The rear quarter of the van was damaged and its back window had popped out, but everyone in both vehicle appeared to be OK, she said. St John treated multiple patients but all injuries were minor, a spokeswoman said. The witness said another AT bus transported the school pupils. Police said the road was partly blocked for a brief period.
