Black Caps captain Kane williamson returned to the Indian Premier League in style, playing his part in a first victory of the year for the Davidwarner-led Sunrisers Hyderabad. In his first competitive innings sincemarch, when the Black Caps’ tour of Australia was cut short by Covid-19, Williamson hit 41 off 26 balls batting at No 4 as the Sunrisers beat Delhi Capitals by 15 runs in Abu Dhabi yesterday. With captain warner (45 off 33) and England’s Jonny Bairstow(53 off 48) putting on 77 for the first wicket, the Sunrisers posted 162-4 then restricted the Capitals to 147-7.
