Hunt back with Broncos
Twelve years after playing his last game for the Broncos, Karmichael Hunt is heading back to Red Hill. Nine News understands the 2006 NRL premiership-winner will join the Brisbane squad on Monday on a train and trial contract. Club officials believe the 34-year-old can add muchneeded experience by playing five-eighth in the young Broncos squad, which has only registered one win in the opening five rounds of the season. The code-hopper, who has also played AFL for the Gold Coast Suns and rugby union for thewallabies, only returned to rugby league this year – making a comeback in the Intrust Super Cup in Queensland.
