Stokes named Wisden’s best

England allrounder Ben Stokes has been named Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack’s leading men’s player in the world for a second straight year. In seven tests in a Covid-ravaged 2020, Stokes scored the most runs with 641 at an average of 58, andwas seventh on the wicket-taking charts with 19 at an average of 18.73. On the test bowling wicket list for 2020, England’s Stuart Broad (38 wickets at 14.76) was on top, with New Zealand’s Tim Southee second with 30 at 17, and Kyle Jamieson third with 25 wickets at 14.44.
