Public consultation open for plan

The Tararua District Council has opened public consultation on its draft Long Term plan. Residents can provide feedback on the plan before it is finalised, until 5pmon May 12. A consultation document will be available from the Council Service Centre or the Tararua District Library. It will also be available on the council website, on request via the council’s Facebook page or by emailing info@tararuadc.govt.nz. Mayor Tracey Collis, councillors and council staff will be touring the district with a series of lunchtime barbecues for anyone wishing to discuss the plan in person between April 29 and May 6.
