Parker climbs in rankings

Joseph Parker’s win over Dereck Chisora continues to be debated, but it has resulted in a surprise rankings rise for the Kiwi heavyweight from some of the best analysts in the game. Ring magazine, which produces the most respected independent assessment in the murky department of rankings, has elevated Parker to No 4 on its list. Parker nowsits behind Ring’s champion Tyson Fury, followed by No 1 Anthony Joshua, Deontaywilder and Dillian Whyte. The official organisations haven’t reacted to the results yet, with Parker still at No 3with thewboand No 6with both the WBC and IBF.
