Kiwis lose ground

New Zealand lost valuable ground as Sailgp’s stop in Britain was completed. Starting the Plymouth regatta in fourth place on the season leaderboard, the under-strength New Zealand crew slumped to eighth, though the points table has tightened considerably. New Zealand sit bottom of the table on 17 points, but they are only five points adrift of leaders Australia who rediscovered their form to win the medal race in Plymouth.
