May 13: The Comedy Hub unveils their latest Graduates Showcase. After 5 weeks of workshops, see what these up-andcoming comedians have learned.

May 13: Amy Hunt presents Let’s Sing, a giant sing-a-long with a live band and performers! Amy will teach you all a song, with special guests and laughs, for one EPIC performanc­e! No experience needed!

May 14: Turkey The Bird stop in on their nationwide album release tour, with catchy folk songs with stunning rich melodies and effortless smooth lyrics telling uplifting stories about love and life.

May 17: UCOL hosts a Techweek panel of Inspiring Women in Technology, showcasing Manawatū women and their career journeys. Ask questions about IT careers, network with panellists over free kai.

May 20: Comedy Hub present charity show Comedy For a Cause, in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters Manawatu. Hosted by Dylan Stewart, with headliner Katie Boyle .

May 20 & 21: Glamorous boylesque crooner, cunning conjurer and profession­al show-off Mr Lola Illusion is back with Lola’s Grave Mistake, a macabre, dead funny show.

May 24: Women and Business return with drinks and nibbles from 5.30pm.

May 27: Alliance Francaise presents their monthly French Film Night.

May 27: Wellington songwriter Miles Calder, nominated for Best Folk Artist at the Aotearoa Music Awards, returns off the back of his celebrated 2021 solo album.

May 28: Pūrerehua Storytelli­ng, a standup event where ordinary people tell personal stories to surprise, entertain, move.

May 28: Corps De Burlesque present their first Graduate Showcase for 2022, an opportunit­y for students to bring their unique energy to the stage. R18.

May 29: The Sunday Matinee Series with Guy Donaldson, piano; Elizabeth Patchett, violin; Robert Ibell, Cello.
