Bunting to look at culture

-

Former New Zealand women’s Sevens coach Allan Bunting has been called into the Black Ferns to improve the side’s culture and environment. Bunting, who guided the Black Ferns Sevens to gold at last year’s Tokyo Olympics, has been appointed in a newly created role, manager of culture and leadership. It was established following the Black Ferns XVS review, which highlighted the need to strengthen the team environment with specific focus on culture and leadership. Bunting had been involved with the Black Ferns Sevens setup for a decade and recently lead the Chiefs Manawa to an inaugural Super Rugby Aupiki title after stepping down from the Sevens role following gold in Tokyo last year. He will work alongside the coaching group ofwayne Smith, Wesley Clark and Whitney Hansen.– RNZ
