475 new cases

Another 475 cases of Covid-19 were reported in the MidCentral District Health Board area during the weekend, 273 on Saturday and 202 yesterday. Therewas also one death related to the virus, with Covid-19 senior responsible officer Deborah Davies extending sympathies to the person’s family and friends. The total number of related deaths for the district stood at 27. Yesterday, there were five people in Palmerston North Hospital with Covid-19. The total number of active cases stood at 1823.
