Buildup games for Ferns

The Football Ferns will face two high-profile European opponents in June as the build up to the Women’sWorld Cup on home soil continues. The side will play No 11-ranked Norway in Norway and No 31-ranked 31Wales in Spain in a pair of international friendlies. The Football Ferns will first play Norway at Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo on June 26 (NZ time), then will depart for Spain to playWales at Pinatar Arena on June 29. Football Ferns head coach Jitka Klimkova´ has been actively seeking matches against top ranked teams ahead of the World Cup jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand in July and August 2023.
