■ So ANZ has made nearly $1 billion profit in 6 months. Meanwhile in the real world we struggle. Disgusting as most goes to Australia.

■ Mallard was joking, I think. As much as I don’t like the guy, from what I read it was advised from Parliament security. Coming from amillennial myself – we watched too much South Park, never trust authority especially not today, it’s well past its prime, and dire lack of civics lessons, and basic laws authority should follow.

■ I have freaking had it with loud exhausts. Go and find a girlfriend.

■ I agree with Joe Bennett – the snooker was great. Also good to see the write up about the final nana.

■ It’s a shame howmuch screen time broadcast news is giving to the Amber Heard/Johnny Depp court battle. Surely there’s issues in NZ that deserve more attention.

■ The old Plunket rooms on King St look awesome. Great to see a historic building in Palmy get some TLC.
