Political parties all make the same mistake, hence why they rarely hold power for longer than two

terms. They campaign for the middle voter to get into power, then in their second term they can’t help themselves... take a hard turn left or a hard turn right.

Wow! Big barrel advertisin­g for ‘‘the perfectmot­her’s day gift’’ not cool! I would like to see its resource consents stripped, we only need one liquor outlet for spirits for heath reasons, not a dozen per town with no sense of morality or decency.
