Adams helps Grizzlies win

With Ja Morantwatching on from the sidelines, the Memphis Grizzlies kept their NBA season alive with an emphatic 134–95 home thrashing of the Golden StateWarriors. Down 3-1, Steven Adams’ Grizzlieswon amust-win game five of the Western Conference semifinals yesterday. Memphis nowheads back to San Francisco trailing 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. Like most of the starters for both teams, Adams played limited minutes in the lopsided match where at one stage Memphis held a 55-point lead. The big Kiwi centre finished with 13 rebounds, seven points and three assists in just 22minutes. In the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Boston Celtics 110-107 to take a 3-2 lead in their series.
