■ Commiseration for the injured scooter user on the front page May 12. I was recently confronted by one scooter with two riders as it rounded a corner and nearly knocked me over. The riders were at most 12 years old. No helmets! No mention of helmet or being aware of this rule in this report. Most riders don’t wear them and/or are underage.
