Careless driving charge after three people hit

A 39-year-old woman has been charged with careless driving after she allegedly crashed into a building and struck amother and two children. Angela Choi was dropping her two kids at Promise School holiday programme in Auckland on April 19 when a car smashed through two glass doors and into the building. It hit Choi and her children, aged 7 and 9, and dragged Choi under its wheels. The trio was hospitalised with moderate to severe injuries and discharged a few days later. The children are now back at school full-time. Choi suffered a severe concussion and is now unable to work. The woman will appear in the North Shore District Court on May 24.
