Rāhui hit ground running in round two

Rāhui 1 made a strong start to the first game of the second round by putting Feilding A1 away.

The second round is under way after the promotion-relegation game last week and the teams in the premier grade are unchanged as College Old Girls A1 held their spot.

Rāhui won 57-37 at the Arena on Tuesday night and are on top of the table.

Manukura Red evened the ledger against club-mates Manukura Black to be 1-all for the season.

Red won 54-44 this week after Black had won the first-round match.

Unbeaten Massey A1 had another strong win as they dispatched College Old Girls A1 65-43.

College haven’t won a game this season and survived the promotionr­elegation last week.

In the premier reserve competitio­n, Massey A2, who missed out on being promoted to the premier grade last week, carried on their strong form with a 50-29 win over Rāhui 2, who are without a win.

Massey Old Girls beat College Old Girls A2 57-41.

Feilding Reserves beat clubmates Feilding A2 54-32.
