Big pay day for Alker

New Zealand golfer Steven Alker’s hot form continued as he earned $203,000 after tying for third at the year’s opening major tournament on the US seniors tour. Steve Stricker completed a wire-to-wire victory yesterday in the Regions Tradition, closing with a 3-under 69 for a five-stroke victory and his fourth PGA Tour Champions major title. Alkerwas in the group at 14-under after carding a 72 on the final round. He has finished four straight tournaments in the top three, winning twice.
