Boil water notice

Tararua District Council has issued another precautionary boilwater notice for the EketāhunaWater Supply. The council said rain over the pastweekend had resulted in high turbidity levels in the Makakahi River, exceeding what the water treatment plant could process to meet New Zealand drinkingwater standards. Storedwater in the treated water reservoirwas supplying the town, however.
