Māori to face Ireland

The Māori All Blackswill play in their biggest fixture since the 2017 Lions tour when hosting Ireland in twomatches in Hamilton and Wellington. New Zealand Rugby said yesterday Ireland would play twomidweek matches against the Māori All Blacks as part of their tour of New Zealand in June and July. Theywill be the most significan­t the Māori All Blacks have played since hosting the British and Irish Lions in Rotorua in 2017, amatch the Lions won 32-10. Ireland’s itinerary (all games 7.05pm):

June 29: vMāori All Blacks, FMGStadium Waikato, Hamilton

July 2: v All Blacks, Eden Park, Auckland

July 9: v All Blacks, Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

July 12: vMāori All Blacks, Sky Stadium, Wellington

July 16: v All Blacks, Sky Stadium, Wellington
