Heat goes on Kerr

White Fern Melie Kerr will return to the Women’s Big Bash League for the Brisbane Heat after taking last season off. The 21-year-old White Fern and Wellington Blaze all-rounder sat out last year’s WBBL season to focus on her mental health and wellbeing. Kerr will play for the London Spirit in the second season of The Hundred in England later in August and September, following the Birmingham Commonwealth Gameswhere women’s cricket will feature for the first time.
