■ Disgusting TV1 news on Saturday night. Most of it about an unplayed game, not even news! Then they had the gall to interview other sports people, not about them or their sport but if they supported the rugby game. There is other sports and actual news in this country - tell us about it. G

■ Biggest banks are Oz owned, looking after their Oz shareholders so why should they care about us? I must find a way to shift my ANZ acc to TSB. Mud

■ The time & effort it must take to text a gripe about use of te reo may be better spent learning what the meanings in English are. Intolerance is not an attractive feature.

■ Text Fri 11th re Māori names. Cultural balance dictates both Maori and English names should be displayed where they exist. Editor, too often your comments try to shut down discussion. Your job is to present balanced information not sway opinion. Your comments often sound arrogant, condescending and particularly curt. PF
