April 1: Let’s Sing Instant Choir hosts an ABBA Night! Imagine a night where your voice (no matter how it sounds), creates the most amazing sound with a whole audience in three-part harmony! There’s a bar, a photo booth, loads of laughs, dress up if you wish.

April 10: Alliance Francaise hosts Café Scientifiq­ue.

April 12: Pat Goldsack Live! Fresh from performing in the US, Europe and the UK, NZ's hippest, swingers-club-owning nana performs an hour of comedy brimful of innuendo, sex advice, mentorship, and a healthy dose of crass. Award-winning MC Alexander Sparrow.

April 13: Capital Pro Wrestling’s spectacula­r show.

April 18: The Nukes Ukelele Trio are offering workshops and shows.

April 18: Manawatu Theatre Society’s A Time Like This opens. Douglas Chapman is trying to live out his unremarkab­le days in his rest home. But a secret from WW1 and a haunting question surroundin­g it, remains unanswered, leaving him unable to live his final days in peace.

April 20: New Zealand's brightest burlesque talent compete for Aotearoa's top burlesque title with MX Burlesque Aotearoa. Special performanc­es from current and former titleholde­rs The Bombay Bombshell and Velma Cherry, and Mr Lola Illusion. Award-winning MC Constance Craving.

April 23: Women and Business’ monthly presentati­on with guest speaker Minnie Baragwanat­h, author, coach, consultant and social innovator.

April 24: The Pantoloons twice perform their latest pantomime, Sherlock Holmes.

April 26: Alliance Francaise’s monthly French Film Night.

April 27: Comedy Hub hosts its monthly stand-up show.

April 28: The Sunday Matinee Series with baritone Roger Wilson, and Guy Donaldson on piano.

April 28: Hot off of the high heels of hosting the Legends Tour at Sky City, Drag Race Down Under star Ivanna Drink is off to conquer London after her farewell tour ‘Ivanna Drink: From K Road to King’s Cross’. The one-hour cabaret show is inspired by her drag journey. There’ll be laughs, chats, meet and greets, and drag!

Mondays: Sing your heart out with the Six To Sixty Choir on Mondays from 7pm to 8pm. Admission $10 adults, $5 children.
