Free community music: Four artists and bands are playing free concerts in Manchester Square, Feilding, for Music Month. Show starts 11.30am with singer-songwriter Crissey Kerr, followed by Feilding Brass (12.30pm), covers band Still Undecided (1.45pm), and covers band Sparkle (3pm).

Greg Malcolm: Live at Snails in Palmerston North, May 18, showcasing his album Just Like Jim. The album is part homage to his grandfathe­r from whom he inherited a 1950s Hofner archtop guitar and an expression of his interests in traditiona­l rembetika and klezmer music. Doors open 8pm, $10 on the door.
