From the President’s Desk

As we are now in Level 2 of the pandemic, there has been a lessening off of the controls that we saw over the Levels 3 and 4.

It is great to be able to get some sense of normality again.

Our portfolio holders have not been able to carry out their roles due to the fact that all other organisations that we deal with have also been shut down.

This is not to say however that we have not still been able to fulfill some roles behind the scenes.

Although we were able to ring those over 70, we were also able to send regular emails to all our members who have that facility.

I believe that this was well received and was good to keep in touch with our members.

We were surprised to see how our older members were coping.

I would just like give a reminder to our members that subscriptions are due.

I realise that for those that pay at the office, and there are many of you, that this facility was not available up until recently.

The office is now open 9am– 5pm Monday to Friday should you need to call in.

I need also to remind you that we cannot accept Kiwibank cheques.
