No ordinary milking machine
When Shane and Sarah Goldsmith decided to build a new farm dairy they chose a Herringbone.
The 30 bail mid-line swing-over with a Waikato Milking Systems 75mm Loopline offered a sound milking platform and came with a reputation of low maintenance, good solid performance and ongoing reliability.
Shane and Sarah’s Loopline is no ordinary milking machine.
It includes many unique features making it one of most advanced milking systems in the district. Not only does the Waikato Loopline provide excellent vacuum stability and fast milking speed its performance is further enhanced with the addition of SmartD-Tect and Waikato’s new swinging arm.
Using SmartD-Tect, milkers can identify potential mastitis problems and remove or treat cows long before they become major concerns or contaminate milk in the bulk tank.
Swinging arms ensure correct cluster alignment, improve udder health and create a more open and uncluttered pit area in which to work.
Variable speed vacuum and milk pump controllers maximise plant efficiency and reduce energy costs while maintaining a quiet working environment.
A Hurricane slug wash system using a powerful, 32mm adjustable electronic air injector developed by Waikato Milking Systems specifically for this purpose ensures the milking system is cleaned properly every time, eliminating the need to manually clean receivers and sanitary traps after each wash. It’s the little things that impact the most. With one easy pull down motion, the entire Jetter system swings down and presents the cluster washers to the operator.
The ease in which this system operates makes it a breeze to use and considerably speeds up the wash set-up process.
Supplied by Waikato Milking Systems the 30 bail Loopline for Golden Investments was installed by Morley Engineering Services Ltd in Matamata.
