GO NUTS FOR NELSON TASMAN’S NEWEST ‘ STAR’ ATTRACTION
The grand ‘star’ doors of Pic’s Peanut Butter World (pictured above) opened to peanut butter fans earlier this year, and the attraction is now being touted as a must-visit for all lovers of good food and peanut butter.
The 3500m² building houses a generous 500m² foyer, featuring an attention-grabbing spiral staircase, a public café, offices, and an exhibition and tour mezzanine overlooking the working factory. Visitors can actually see Pic’s Peanut Butter being made from specially constructed viewing platforms, as well as meet the people who make the spread, learn more about owner Pic Picot’s journey, and even make their own peanut butter. It’s the perfect destination to buy a gift, or meet your friends for great food and coffee. The on- site café is operated by Nelson Tasman’s awardwinning coffee company Pomeroy’s, which has been roasting and brewing in Nelson since 1989.
