POLAR CAPS, GLACIAL EXPLORATION & ‘IT’ DESTINATIONS – CLIMB ON BOARD
It’s normally around this time of year you start planning what cruises you may choose to take in the year ahead – and for many, the allure of both poles is calling. With more and more itineraries heading to these regions, we wanted to showcase a range of cruise options to the ice-covered regions on Earth. And as we compare a range of cruises to Antarctica, as well as different ways to cruise to the Arctic, one thing is clear
– no matter if it’s luxury, adventure or expedition cruising you want, we have the perfect itinerary for you.
A little closer to home, we travelled to Fiordland and Stewart Island – and our writer reported back to say it was the “best experience ever”. I now want to add that cruise to my ever-growing list of must-do getaways.
In sending all these travel journalists out around the globe to different ports, reporting on unique cruise options and destinations, we are giving you many varied options. As we have seen a huge growth in cruising as a preferred holiday, it’s as much about the journey as it is the range of cities a ship calls on.
There is so much more to report on – and that’s before we mention all the new ships launching in 2020! If you want a holiday where you unpack only once, learn something new, experience different cultures and cuisines, make friends for life, and arrive back home relaxed, then a cruise may be just what you are looking for. And throughout this cruise section, I am sure we’ll provide you with all the background information you need to plan and book your next cruise. And don’t forget to enter our competition to win an incredible Viking River Cruise from Paris to Prague, plus a visit to the ‘real Downton Abbey’. I’m sure Lady Mary would approve.
