AUCKLAND CRAFT & BEER FOOD FEST

-

How many slices of bread does it take to make a beer? The answer is 140,000 and it’s made by Citizen: one of the many breweries onsite for the Auckland Craft Beer & Food Festival. The event is a fantastic way to engage in some new, fresh, unusual and exciting brews. The organisers are the team behind the successful Dunedin Craft Beer Festival, now in its eighth year, so rest assured you’ll be well looked after. Catch a train into downtown Auckland then a swift walk to Spark Arena will set you right for this 27th March event. The extensive line-up of producers includes a Behemoth Brewery and Spark Arena one-off: a festival beer called ‘Beehemoth’, made from honey collected from hives located at the Arena. Also, look out for the ‘Pink Boots’ society brewers, an association representing the increasing number of female brew professionals in Aotearoa. aucklandbeerfestival.co.nz
