Melissa McCarthy is involved in more super-powered action than in her own film, Thunder

Force. She will also appear in next year’s Thor: Love And Thunder, joining an already star-studded cast including Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt, Christian Bale, Matt Damon and Sam Neill. McCarthy is reportedly appearing in a comic play within the film, starring as the Goddess of Death, Hela, opposite Neil as Odin. Her own husband, Ben Falcone, also appears to have a role in the play. It came after McCarthy and Falcone made a video on Instagram, jokingly appealing to appear in the movie. Thor: Love And Thunder is currently being shot in Australia.
