Emma Stone picked up the Best Actress Oscar in 2017 for her captivating performance in La La Land. It proved that she was a true Hollywood triple threat who could not only act but dance and sing, too. In her acceptance speech she thanked her fellow category nominees such as Natalie Portman and Meryl Streep, before going on to thank her family and friends: “I’m going to hug the hell out of you when the feeling re-enters my body,” she said. She has also been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Birdman (2015) and The Favourite (2018).
