BUSINESS TRIPS MAY TAKE A HIT

One area of travel that is unlikely to return to pre-COVID levels is business travel. Although the world may slowly return to primarily working in offices when the pandemic is behind us, Dr Julia Albrecht notes that our days of remote working have made us realise we can save the costs that come with business trips. “I’m pretty sure there’s going to be a lot less international, long-haul business travel, particularly since COVID gave us the opportunity to find and trial so many often-successful workarounds,” says Albrecht.
