TRUE COLOURS SHINE IN AWARDS

The Dulux Colour Awards is New Zealand and Australia’s premier showcase of inspirational colour application. Each year, work by architects, interior designers, specifiers and students from Australasia are judged and recognised for their creative and innovative use of colour across six categories spanning interior and exterior residential, public, and commercial spaces. This year, from a pool of 437 exceptional entries, 105 finalists were selected by a panel of design industry experts from NZ and Australia. Andrea Lucena-Orr, Dulux Colour and Communications Manager, observed a return to timeless treatments, particularly the stylish pairing of black and white. “Reflecting the mood of the time, we are seeing a trend towards dark cocooning exteriors, with deep greys, charcoals and black contrasted with light, warm interiors, especially in residential projects.” To see the finalists, visit dulux.com.au/colourawards
