HOSPO COOKBOOK
With New Zealand’s recent lockdown impacting the hospitality heavily, organic coffee roastery Kōkako has released a special digital cookbook to lend a helping hand to local eateries. Featuring 55 recipes from top cafés and restaurants, including Ada, Cotto and Cibo, 90 per cent of the profits from the Hospo at Home e-book will be split between the contributors and leftover profits will go to food charity, Everybody Eats. Standout dishes include Cotto’s famous kūmara ravioli, Ada’s basil buttermilk tomato salad, and Dedwood Deli’s signature chimichurri sauce. “Cafés and restaurants get hit hard with every lockdown, and yet when they’re open, those legends still greet their customers with a smile, spreading joy with beautiful coffee, delicious food and great yarns,” says Kōkako.
