The popularity of unisex names that work for all genders has been on the rise and looks set to continue into the future. Among the reasons that parents pick a genderneutral name are allowing – or even embracing – the possibility of gender fluidity. The current generations of Millennials and Gen Zs that have reached childbearing age are vocal about sexual discrimination, sexism, and genderneutral trends with the result that gender-neutral names like Hunter, Quinn and Elliot are becoming increasingly popular in Western countries.
