OUR WINNING POEM
This month’s winning poet, Robyn, says: “I wrote this poem during the ghastly frenzy of Christmas build-up when nerves can become seriously frayed. We see Christmas as a time to reconnect with loved ones but I found myself wishing these connections were wider; community-based and lasting.” At a time when COVID-19 is affecting almost every country in the world, we loved this sentiment of kindness and community, and how Robyn formatted her poem to create a literal ‘space‘ for that connection.
