PERILS OF HYBRID WORK
Employees in the hybrid world of remote work are 1.12 times more likely to feel they are working too hard at their jobs than employees in the on-site world, says recent research by Gartner on remote working fatigue. High levels of visualisation are cognitively draining to the employee, says the research, with 75 per cent of HR leaders agreeing that an increase in the number of virtual touchpoints employees face in their work puts them at risk of burnout.
