SAY NADA TO PLASTIC

- Nada.nz

Say goodbye to plastic and hello to Nada, the new range of eco-cleaning products launching in New Zealand with the aim of eliminating single-use plastic packaging from every Kiwi kitchen, laundry and bathroom. “Most cleaning products contain 90 to 95 per cent water,” says founder James Hanafin. “When you pick up a new cleaner from the supermarket, you’re basically just paying for a plastic bottle, water, and a small amount of actual ingredients. We set the task for ourselves to create an effective product that could be packed into a single concentrated tablet and used inside our refillable aluminum bottles. A single tablet replaces an entire bottle of regular store-bought cleaner, which we think is pretty awesome.” As part of Nada’s pledge to eliminate single-use plastics and promote sustainability, Nada has also committed to donating 1% of revenue to One Percent for the Planet and to donating 50% of all profits to local environmental charities, Sustainable Coastlines and Trees that Count.
