SPIRIT PACKS A PUNCH

You may already know the really great team from Pasture restaurant in Auckland; they have launched another new company called Boxer, making a distinctive, highly aromatic and engaging spirit, Hello + Boxer. This is a premium white spirit with a wild, unusual bouquet and flavour profile. Bartenders and mixologists will have a lot of fun with this product, though it’s rather good on its own over ice or with a splash of bespoke tonic or dry ginger ale. Its main flavour ingredient is from chillies, so expect a powerful bouquet as it leaps from the glass like a newly minted sauvignon blanc out of Marlborough. It’s a spirit which is smooth, refreshing and ingenious. RRP from $150.
