JAPANESE FESTIVAL
Auckland’s acclaimed MASU restaurant is coming alive this winter with a series of Japanese vodka experiences. The ‘Tanabata’ (meaning ‘star festival’) event showcases House of Suntory’s Haku vodka in a vibrant celebration of Japanese myth, culture and cuisine, featuring a bespoke Haku vodka cocktail menu by award-winning mixologist Akira Ohki paired with contemporary Japanese dishes by the talented MASU chefs. The restaurant will be transformed into a glittery night sky with thousands of lights as guests are taken on a journey through Japanese mythology. The MASU Tanabata event runs from 1 July to 12 August.
